Interesting. I dismissed the tornado immediately because it looked more like a toilet flush.

Thanks Jesse. Both good points. Looks like the tornado is winning hands down at the moment.

Hi Niall,

It shouldn't be that way but I think the bullet would be off-putting in some areas - and it might also carry a connotation of "the silver bullet" that we struggle against. :)

I actually prefer the tornado/waterspout layout with the bullet colors - both the bullet covers are cleaner and make better use of whitespace than the tornado covers.

Cheers!

Thanks Paula. I doubt I will ever get a cover that pleases me, the publisher and every possible reader, so I agree - no point losing sleep.

With a Tapscott foreword it would be a given to have a Tsunami.

There could have been a lot of other relevant analogies...neither of these 'connect' for me. But then a lot of people ignore the covers...so no sense losing sleep over it.

For another element of choice, either of the two on the right, due to the inclusion of 'red' would be more relevant than the two on the left.

Look forward to the publication!

I'll say the one on the far right. I like the place of the author's name on the bottom against a white background, and I prefer the bullet metaphor. I like the bullet symbolizing social media as something that has "broken through." It's no longer an issue of whether it "could" change the future of work, but "it will change the future of work." Hope you find this helpful.
